The SLC Photo Collective provides a collaborative artist community that differs from other “art spaces”. More than just a place to work, the Photo Collective strengthens relationships and provides networking opportunities with artists in the community by providing educational workshops and classes to the visual arts community. The SLC Photo Collective offers a large 3,500 square foot modern loft space for photo shoots, workshops and monthly exhibitions.
We are proud to offer instructional workshops with hands-on experience in a wide variety of fields ranging from basic photo classes to full day workshops with guest speakers covering the business of photography for professionals.

Complete Studio/Office Lease (Full-Time)
$500/month (10% off second 6 months when booked in advance (Max. 6 people)
Your lease includes:
- Full-Time Permanent Office/Studio Space.
- Personal Work Station/Desk Supplied. Grow your Business under one roof.
- Individual Lockable Storage of personal/photo equipment.
- Use of included Photo Equipment/Unlimited Studio time.
- After hour shooting time available.
- Minimal cost rate of printing facilities.
- Client Meeting Area + Hair/Makeup Stations
- Retail Storefront.
- Personal business growth with recruited client opportunities/networking.
- Artist Website and profile featured on www.slcphotocollective.org.
- Guaranteed One solo art exhibit every 6 months as well as participate in community shows each month. Works sold by solo art exhibits are NOT commissioned by the gallery. 100% of proceeds go back to the artist.
- 6 month to 1 Year lease required. If leased for the entire year upon booking, artist receives two solo exhibits. One every six months.
- 10% off the second 6th month lease rate.

- The Photo Collective also acts a Photo Agency where outside client work is often times provided to Full Time Photographers. This is a great networking tool, and allows the artist to obtain more clients.

Advanced Studio Lease (Part-Time 12 hours/month)
$250/month supplying own lighting
$300/month utilizing our lighting
Your lease includes:
- Part-Time Studio Space.
- Use of Included Photo Equipment/ Studio time 12 hours/month however you see fit. This could easily be considered shooting 1 Day a week for up to 3 hours each session, or planning a few larger production shoots each month that are 6 hours each.
- Access to printing facilities.
- Client Meeting Area + Hair/Makeup Stations.
- Personal business growth with recruited client opportunities/networking.
- Encouraged to participate in exhibitions with other artists, and are guaranteed one solo art exhibit if booked for 1 year. Works sold by art exhibits include a 20% commission by the gallery.
- 6 month to 1 Year lease required. If leased for the entire year upon booking, artist receives one solo art exhibit.

Basic Studio Rental (As Needed Basis)
$50/hour for Personal Shoots if utilizing your own lighting.
$75/hour for Personal Shoots if taking advantage of the use of our in house lighting equipment/modifiers.
$100/hour for Large Production Shoots of 10 people or more including stylists, models, assistants, etc.
Half Day/Full Day Rates available (As Needed Basis)
We offer a discount on Half Day rates for shoots that are up to 4 hours
$250/half day up to 4 hours, For up to 10 people involved. Equipment included.
$400/full day up to 8 hours, For up to 10 people involved. Equipment included.
Your rental includes:
- Use of studio space and/or photo equipment on an as needed basis.
- $50/hour if bringing your own equipment.
- $75/hour if utilizing our in house lighting equipment/modifiers. Contact us for a complete list of supplied equipment.
- $100/hour for large production shoots of 10 people or more.
- Or Take advantage of our discounted rates for Half Day/Full Day Rates
- Client Lounge/Meeting Area + Hair/Makeup Stations.
- Wardrobe Organizing/Changing Room

We offer volunteer programs and rates!
We want to provide new photographers with opportunities to learn in a creative environment.
We offer 30-minute studio sessions in exchange for assisting in the studio (or on location), helping maintain a clean work environment, and continuing to help support the SLC Photo Collective. Gain real life hands-on photo experience by working with our network of established photographers.
